Starting December 20th 2018 all users will have the ability to start using CIM’s new User Interface, without impacting your workflows. These visual updates are part of a larger initiative to incorporate user feedback, improve our product, and enhance the user’s experience.
What do I need to do?
You will be prompted if you would like to try the New CIM User Interface when you login on or after December 20th 2018.
- Select “Yes” if you would like to start using it, otherwise Select “Explore this later” and keep using CIM as you know it today.
Can I go back to the old User Interface?
Yes, you will have the ability to toggle between them as shown below:
Where are the System messages?
System messages are now located in the top navigation bar, accessible anywhere.
Submitting a Help Ticket:
Click the help icon in the top navigation to submit a ticket for help
Opening and Closing Search
Search can now be auto hidden when you open a search result. An option has been added to turn on or off auto collapse of the search menus. You will be able to change this setting by:
- Navigating to your User Profile
- Clicking Client Settings
- Checking or Unchecking Auto collapse search menu
